So many of you have got your hooves dirty in our Ovis Loop playtests and even our STAND-ALONE Episode 0 demo (which we recently extended to July!) and we’d like to send another huge thank you for your support.
After defeating enemies, players will download and evolve critical skills to help you fight through the Loop. Rather than just acquiring new skills, Ovis Loop gives you the choice between passive and active upgrades for each skill.
Whether you like to charge in, use area of effect or dive in and out, each boss will adapt to meet your challenge. Focus on dodging and find a boss that aggressively pursues. If you prefer to rush in, it’ll retreat to find space.
The boss’s Phase 2 originally spawned poison clouds continuously, making the difficulty higher. The original design intent was to add a jump mechanic to the dodge-focused action, increasing the control difficulty slightly.
Ovis Loop unfolds in a ravaged world. The Shepherd — a robot once branded a fraud — awakens with pelo memory and finds itself reborn as one of the very sheep it once protected.
This is achieved by giving one of the basic enemies an “elite” variant with increased health and a series of power-ups, creating an engaging end-level battle that must be defeated before you can move on to your reward. This can make conserving health throughout your run challenging.
However, we acknowledge that this may not be a #OVISLOOP complete fix. If the same problem persists after this update, please report it to us so we can fix it immediately. Again, we are deeply sorry for the trouble this has caused.
Our development focus is on expanding both the quantity and quality of content available to players. The narrative will also continue to be updated throughout Early Access, with ongoing content additions planned during this period.

When defeated, the player loses the equipment and skills they've picked up so far, which makes each level and boss fight harrowing, and experimentation with its combat systems an important requirement.
